Julia + Luke | Brooklyn Arts Wedding

If we could describe Julia and Luke’s wedding in two words, they would be elegant and timeless. These two sweethearts got married on March 4th, 2017 and chose The Brooklyn Arts Center as their venue.

Our couple had their ceremony in front of the majestic cathedral windows, where Verzaal’s Florist designed an exquisite piece composed by lush greenery and white florals. It stood suspended by the magical work of Illuminating Events, who also provided the up-lighting which gave the last touch to this astounding backdrop.

Soon after Julia and Luke tied the knot, the guests proceeded to go to The Annex for the cocktail hour. While the guests enjoyed themselves and the bridal party proceeded with pictures, we transformed the room into the reception space. We used the suspended floral piece as the backdrop to the sweetheart table. The napkins were wrapped with twine and topped with a piece of greenery to compliment the centerpieces. These details tied the room together to complete a sophisticated wedding. Flips are pretty cool to experience. It is quite amazing to see how an area can change and look entirely different IN AN HOUR.

After their big entrance, Julia + Luke had their first dance, followed by a delicious dinner, supplied by Middle of the Island. Then the dancing began to the upbeat sounds of Bull City Syndicate music. For dessert, One Belle Bakery delivered a delicate cake that, as usual, tasted heavenly.

The day ended with sparklers that light the pathway to Julia and Luke’s way new life as husband and wife. Now, take a look at the details gracefully captured by Megan Kerns Photography, you don’t want to miss them!
