Lowery + Chad | Litchfield Plantation Wedding

My oh my, talking about an effortlessly gorgeous wedding, Lowery and Chad’s is at the top of the list! They got married on April 22, 2017 at the captivating Litchfield Plantation in Pawley's Island, South Carolina on a sunny and cloudless day.

The wedding day started-off with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready in the plantation home where Bobby Pins & Blushing Brides glammed-up the girls.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen took their pictures all over the property trying to captivate all the gorgeous details in the land. The abundance of large old oak trees draped in Spanish moss were the perfect backdrop. Cameron Faye Photography, and Ian C. Dunne Films & Digital Media didn’t skip a beat making sure to capture every opportunity resulting in breathtaking pictures.

The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful white and glass chapel also located on the property. While Lowery made her grand entrance down the aisle, Chad just couldn’t hold back his tears of happiness.

The guests were welcomed into the cocktail and reception area which was hosted al fresco. The space was filled with personalized details, from their finger-print guest book made by the bride’s sister, to the silver platters that acted as seating charts, and the classic black and white checker board dance-floor placed by Hotz Party & Event Rental.

The reception began with the announcement of Mr. & Mrs. Dameron, leading into their first dance to “When a man loves a woman” played on the saxophone! It was a very romantic and whimsical moment! Did we mention the dance was choreographed?! Dances were followed by speeches and a very delicious dinner provided by Creative Catering.

Guests dined at tables outfitted with delicate floral arrangements, designed by Greenskeeper Florist and vintage plates and flatware from Event Works Rentals. The reception took place on the back lawn of the plantain home directly under the stars and strung edison lights by MC Lighting & Video. The plantation sits directly on the marsh, which gave the guests a beautiful sightline to the water as well. We definitely CAN’T and WON’T forget about the cake that was hanging on a swing from an aged and very large oak-tree! The heavenly four tiered cake, made by Croissants Bistro and Bakery, was blush pink and embellished with florals and sugar-lace…like straight out of fairytales!

Once dinner was complete, The Band Punch kept everybody singing and dancing throughout the entire night up until the very last song…well, almost. The bride and groom had their own last song that they danced alone together while the guests lined-up in front of the house for the sparkler send-off.

The rest is history! It was a magical and breathtaking night for sure. We loved that our couple embraced the southern charm and filled it with refined and stylish elements that gave this wedding it’s uniqueness. The pictures are going to make you swoon!
