This wedding had it all: a gorgeous couple, beautiful bridesmaids, a stunning venue, and a day full of romance and happiness. We really think you're not going to be able to stop sighing over this one!
Haley & Luke tied the knot on May 27th, 2017 at the always marvelous Wrightsville Manor. Our bride and groom filled their day with very meaningful details, from the girl’s matching robes, their gifts to each other and to their parents, to the dainty two HEARTS sewn in under Haley’s ceremony dress. The hearts were made of both Hayley’s & Luke’s mom's wedding gowns! She took “something old” to a whole different level, and we LOVED it!
The ceremony was officiated by one of their best friends. He knew them so well that he was able to deliver a very fun and unique perspective to their ceremony, which took place outside under the majestic Oak tree. Afterwards, Grays Forte’s delightful harpist talents gave way to the cocktail hour, while the wedding party proceeded to take pictures.
A very special mention to the exquisite off-the-shoulder bridesmaids dresses and the navy-blue groomsman suites! They were such a fun and beautiful wedding party! While the ceremony was taking place, The Atomic Cigar Co. set-up their CIGAR BAR on the lawn for cocktail hour. They rolled cigars right there by HAND and labeled them with Haley & Luke’s wedding date. This was the perfect souvenir! ...And, to make it even more special, the cigar bar was the bride’s surprise-gift to the groom!
Inside of Wrightsville Manor, the room was fully set for the reception! The banquet tables were placed with greenery runners and pops of white blooms throughout, while the rounds had the bridesmaids’s bouquets as the centerpieces. We can thank Eco Chic Blossoms for their wonderful work! The gold-rimmed dinner plates and vintage salad plates, provided by EventWorks, added the last magical touch that tied the design together. After the guests proceeded to take their seats, the wedding party was announced, followed by the Funderburk’s first ever introduction as husband and wife! Haley and Luke kicked off the reception with their beautiful first dance and a delicious dinner prepared by Middle of the Island.
Haley changed into her SECOND wedding dress just in time for the dancing to really kick-off! Active DJ Entertainment was the entertainment for the evening! They really know how to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing the night away.
Finally, the sweetest couple cut the sweetest cake! It was a three tiered white-buttercream cake, made by Imaginary Cakes. They created replicas of their two adorable pups, and what's more shocking is that the sculptures were completely edible! Hats off to Imaginary Cakes!
The day ended with a glorious sparkler send-off, and the newlyweds left the venue in style with a classic getaway car provided by Carolina Classic Car Rentals. These pictures are soooo romantic! Now, we invite you to submerge into Haley & Luke’s sweet wedding pictures taken by the talented team of Magnolia Photography.
